Ok, here's the grounding method that you can try.
First of all, this particular method has worked for myself as you well know that being a reader and natural born we too can carry alot of anxiety and stress. but here is the method:
1) if you can get "lavender" in your choice of oil, incense or fresh flowers. this is the focus scent. it is a healer of all kinds. With oil (use 2 cap fulls to 4 cups of water in a kitchen pot your not needing to use for cooking) and steam it in your home for about 30 minutes. then sit yourself down with little or no noise and close your eyes. Visualize or think back of a peaceful thought ( walk in the park, beach, forest, maybe as a kid, running through tree's anything positive) with that, once you have that memory, take a deep breath in therough your nose, count to 5 and slowly release through your mouth. do this 3 times. making sure your feet are flat on the ground. then what you'll do is stand up and shake your hands at the side of the body and release that energy from your hands, allow yourself to day dream if you'd like, not to worry if you take a nap. but doing this method 1 time a day, will help the release of those energies of anxiety. if for some reason you cannot find lavander, the cooking scent of vanilla also works, all you do is place 4 cap fulls to 1 cup of water. please enjoy this method, and enjoy the new peace you find and remember, smile when you are finished. ( i usually take a shower afterwards and visualize the stress being washed down the drain)
Here are some methods that you can use for relaxing - through meditation, grounding and affirmation/prayer. (They are excerpts from the Meditation & Grounding Guide, edited by us and written by our friends and proteges, for which we have full permission to use to benefit others.)
1.1.3 Affirmation Breathing Exercise
This method that is adapted from a method for outdoor use, which involves chanting or reciting mantras and affirmations (also included). Thus:
Find a suitable place to sit, such as a comfortable chair, or cushioned floor.
Sit cross-legged with your arms across your lap.
Close your eyes.
Say a “power word” aloud, such as OM or YAH, or a mantra, phrase, affirmation, or Biblical quote that suits you with something that you feel comfortable with. (This could include a solution to a problem or a personal request or prayer.)
Breathe in through your nose as far as you can.
Hold for 4 seconds.
Breathe in through your mouth as far as you can.
Repeat the word, mantra, phrase, affirmation or quotation you used earlier.
Repeat the process 4 more times, counting mentally down from 5.
Some people prefer using the “power word” at the beginning or end of the affirmation procedure. As a further procedure for the above, you could rest your hands flat on the ground, palms down, and thank the earth for allowing you to ground and providing a solution. Visualize the negative energies flowing downwards through your palms into the earth and leaving your body.
Visualization Affirmation
For this method, you will need your choice of lavender oil, incense, candles or fresh flowers. This is the “focus” scent and is a multi-healer. Combine this with the Affirmation Breathing Exercise (above) and it will help with the process as well.
With the oil, use 2 capfuls to 4 cups of water in a kitchen pot that you no longer need for cooking).
Steam the oil in the pot for about 30 minutes.
Sit in a comfortable chair with little or no noise, and close your eyes.
Visualize a peaceful thought or think back to a peaceful time in your life - such as a walk in the park, beach, forest, or maybe as a child, running through trees (anything positive).
With that, once you have that image or memory in your mind, take a deep breath in through your nose, count to 5, and slowly release through your mouth.
Focus on the objects of your desires - money and love and career - and keep them in your mind.
Repeat step 5 three more times, making sure that your feet are flat on the ground.
At this point, stand up and shake your hands at the sides of your body and release that energy from your hands.
Allow your mind to drift and day dream if you’d like, and if you fall asleep, that’s fine too. Doing this method once per day will also help release the extraneous energies accumulated through stress and anxiety.
If, for any reason, you cannot find lavender, the steaming scent of vanilla (or the vanilla flavoring used in cooking) also works. Place 4 capfuls of vanilla to 1 cup of water, steamed on a stovetop. Enjoy this method in particular and enjoy the new peace you will find, and remember to smile when you are finished.
First of all, letting go is a emotional attachment we all mentally accept or personally let go. Everything is energy based so when its fed by a emotion ( doesn't matter which one) it feeds a reaction towards a event that has taken place. In letting go such events, it can be mind boggling and can also be over whelming without the tools to do such, but there is a method that seems to really help. analyzing the main event or topic, and then once everything is accepted whether its positive or negative, look mentally for the tool to go with what you learned from the experience. with that said, there is the emotion with it, so once you can get to that point, then go ahead and mentally let that emotion go, then the tool and lesson learned will be viewed more properly.( here's a example)>> writing the events down in a journal often helps as well, and also on the left hand side, place all the negatives there that has happened or made you feel sad, but then on the right hand place ( next to each negative) mentally search for 3 positives to match. then when you have around 20 or so, then at the top of the list. write down what you learned, then ask yourself " did you implement this event or did someone else, if you did then these are issues that you can heal, even with analyzing them yourself using the same methods, if someone else implemented them, then allow the universe to take that event and bring it back to that person that tried to give it to you. you are not born a donkey, a donkey carries weight of others, and its their job, not yours. you have enough to fix in your life and the life lessons going on there, will give you balance in the end. So many times in life people think that just because someone gives you a hard time about something, its up to us to change it, but the more that we do this, the person that had given you a hard time in the first place, it could be their lesson in life, but if you were to accept what they say, then they won't learn that lesson that universal wants them to learn. so its better to give it back to the universe so that "if" its needed as a lesson then that person will get it back. here along with this is the affirmations - prayers and methods to learn how to release, so that your own energy is fed too by the positives of the universe and will also teach you about your own inner strength and peace. when you are finished with this and you've done it for awhile you'll start seeing that the energy and emotions have changed and a new focus is developing.
